This site is mostly for personal long effort posts and things that I feel strongly enough to post about. Expect inconsistent, contradictory and obsessive posting on whatever topic I am currently lached to.

I do computer programming and machine vision as my profession, so most of my technical knowledge tends to focus on that sort of thing, but we are more than just our work.

I enjoy exploring the nature of the world and understanding of my place within it. I really do love you all and I'm grateful as heck to be here. We are all unique and beautiful creatures in this panoply of life.

I prefer to spend my time out in nature. I'm an avid rock climber, backpacker and hiker, amature radio enthusist, music festvial fanatic. I love cooking, physical fitness, reading, and bettering myself in all sorts of ways.

This site is named for the unique ambiance of late-night screen time. I find that I do some fo my most productive work during these quiet hours when everyone else is asleep.
